SPRING weather patterns are emerging, with temperatures warming up and partly cloudy conditions throughout the Upper Hunter this week.

North westerly winds will develop on Thursday and Friday ahead of the next cold front, which will make its way through on the weekend.

A chance of showers on Sunday, with the Lower Hunter more likely to see some rain.
