THIS week will be warm in the Upper Hunter with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
There is a weak trough in the region bringing warmer temperatures and a broad trough moving through the state which will bring a short cool change on Wednesday and Thursday, before temperatures climb towards the weekend.
Thunderstorms are most likely on Wednesday and Thursday and by Christmas on Saturday the conditions are expected to be cloudy but dry.
