ACCORDING to the Bureau of Meteorology Scone has received 15.6mm of rain in the 24 hour period until 9am this morning and Merriwa 19.4mm.
However, the weather will be short lived due to a cold front moving over the region and heading towards the north east.
The next few days will see sunny conditions with little chance of rain and temperatures rising to an expected top of 34 on Friday.
The top expected today is 29 degrees and with the warming trend sitting a few degrees above average.
