TWENTY-nine Vets enjoyed the well-watered fairways and greens, thanks Ricky and your crew at Muswellbrook Golf Course yesterday when they played their stableford event.

In a three-way tie on 39 points, Bob Thorley came out on top in the count-back from Graham Boles and Les Brown.

Fourth was hard-working Treasurer Bob Minch 37.

In the ball comp balls went to Brian Dever, Graham Guest and Captain Max Holz 36, Greg Lawrance and Ross Banks 35, Rod Upton and Bruce Robinson 34 and Terry Mitchell, Phil Ledgerwood, Tony Lettice and Bob Keating 33.

The Week of Golf will be played at Muswellbrook from Monday, March 14 – Friday March 18.

For those not playing in the WoG, there will be a Vet’s stableford game at Denman on Tuesday, March 15 – hit-off 8am.
