Veteran’s Golf Report – October 20

Nineteen veterans played a stableford event at Denman on Tuesday, October 20, on very well-prepared course. Thank you to all the volunteers who do such a wonderful job.

Terry Mitchell won the event with 36 points from Brian Dever, second on 34 from a C/B with Warren Rankin (third on 34).

Balls went to Gary Leake, Tommy Thompson and Steve Harris (33), Greg Squires, Rod Upton and Phil Hocking (32) and Phil Tarrant (31).

The Bradman’s trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley, was won by Red Palmer.

Nearest the Pins: Second shot on the 3rd Kevin Warby;  5th Gary Gray and 14th Kevin Warby.

Future Games:

• October 27 at Aberdeen stroke and putting for the Jack White final plus A grade, B grade and C grade events sponsored by Aberdeen Golf and Recreation Club; also the AGM.
• November 3 Stfd at Mbk for the Col Hunter Shield-Book in with the Pro Shop.
• November 10 Stfd at Scone -book in with Captain Phil.

All games tee-off by 8.30am.
