Veteran’s Golf Report: Nov 19

EIGHTEEN veterans enjoyed the hospitality of Denman Golf Club and had lots of fun and laughs when they played a stableford event on a hot and dry Tuesday, 19th November.
Thank you to Gary Ashmead for sponsoring a $200 prize for a hole-in-one on the 14th hole.
Vice-captain Graham Turvey did best with 3 birdies and 40 points from Bruce Robinson 2nd 38 and Rod Upton 3rd 37 C/B.
Balls went to Red Palmer 37, Graham Boles and Brian Dever 36, Kevin Warby, Martin Byrne and Terry Mitchell 35 and on 34 Gary Gray and George Campbell.
The Bradman’s trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley was won by Tommy Thompson.
