Veteran’s Golf: Nov 29
By Graham Turvey
It’s a pleasure to play golf at Murrurundi.
Not only is the course picturesque, it’s quite a few degrees cooler up on the mountain.
The 19 players who played on Tuesday, November 29 remembered Rich Cooper following the spreading of his ashes on the 8th tee at the entrance to Paradise Park last weekend.
Thanks John Norman for organising the pies for lunch and to Howie Lane for processing the score cards.
John Norman did best with 35 stableford points on a count-back from Milton Reid 2nd and Gary Gray third 31.
Balls went to Terry Mitchell 31, Tommy Thompson, Rod Upton, Brian Dever and Des Partridge 30, Graham Turvey 29 and Graham Huggins and Ross Banks 28.
Nearest the Pins: 3rd/12th Ross Banks 6th/15th Howie Lane 9th/18th Kenny Thornton
