Veteran’s Golf: May 21

Twenty-four Vets, including visitors Bob Fry, Brian Payton, Steve Harris and Darryl Wynn played a two ball best ball stableford event on Tuesday, May 21 on the delightful Denman Golf Club – what a pleasant day it was. Thanks Brian Dever for the tasty pies for lunch.

Martin Byrne & Bob Minch did best with 48 points from Red Palmer & Lindsay Hodge 2^nd 47.

Balls went to Gary Ashmead & Terry Mitchell 42 and Graham Huggins & Jock O’Connor and Gary Gray & Paul Gorman 41.

The Bradman’s trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley was won by Bob Thorley & Graham Turvey.
