Veterans Golf: May 10

TWENTY-FOUR veterans, including visitor from Proserpine Queensland Neil Cawthorne, played a two ball better ball stableford event at Scone Golf Course on Tuesday, May 10.
The course is a credit to the maintenance volunteers – many thanks for all your hard work.
The winners on a count-back with 44 points were Red Palmer and Captain Max Holz.
Second were Bob Lawman and Brian White with 44.
In the ball comp balls went to the following individuals: George Smith 37, Greg Lawrence 36, Graham Huggins 35, Jim Elder 33 and Jeff McKeon, Les Brown and Graham Guest 32.

NO GOLF next Tuesday, May 17.
On Thursday, May 19 at Muswellbrook we play the inaugural UHVGA Mixed Open event.
It will be a shot-gun start at 9am. The $25 p.p. should be paid to Treasurer Bob Minch before Thursday 17 so the start can be organised.
