Veteran’s Golf: March 21

AFTER the recent rain, Denman Golf Course was in top condition when twenty vets played a stableford game there on Tuesday, March 21.

Thank you to the many volunteers who care for this great sporting resource.

Terry Mitchell won with 39 points from Andy Medway 2nd with 38 and 3rd was Gary Morley 35.

Balls went to Bruce Robinson 33, Graham Guest, Ross Banks and Gerrit de Boer 32, Jeff McKeon 31, Pam de Boer 30 and Les Brown 29.

• Coming Events: March 27 to 31-The Week of Golf at Muswellbrook; Tuesday, March 28 – Stableford at Scone with Brian Dever in charge with hit-off by 8 am.
• Change to the Program: Tuesday, April 4 will now be a stroke and putting event at Aberdeen, NOT the Ossie Miles Trophy which moves to May 23 (at Muswellbrook).
• Don’t Forget: The trip to Crowne Plaza on Thursday, April 6.
• Changes to the Program in May: Tuesday, May 9 will be a 2BBB & Ind stableford at Denman; Tuesday, May 16 will be a stableford event at Scone (hit-offs by 8 am).
• NB The Open at Muswellbrook on Friday, May 26 has been cancelled.
