Veteran’s Golf: July 23

President Paul Gorman won the Bernie Behringer Memorial par 3 event over 24 holes at Aberdeen Golf Club on Tuesday, 23rd July with nett 69. It was great that Paul has recovered so well from being in hospital recently. We wish Bob Thorley all the best as he is a bit crook at present; get better like Paul has Bob!
Thank you to Doug Dowell for setting up the par 3 course for us to enjoy.
There were 23 players and in second place was Peter Daunton 75, 3rd Terry Mitchell 76 and 4th Tony Pearson 77 C/B. Balls went to Doug Dowell, Rod Auld and Jim Elder 77, Bob Colbert 78, Gerrit de Boer 79, Rod Upton, Gary Gray and Elie Raad 80 and on 82 Brian White.

The putting wine, kindly donated by the Aberdeen Sport and Recreation Club club was won by Terry Mitchell with 40 putts C/B.
The Bradman’s Trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley was won by Graham Turvey.
