The Upper Hunter Vets congratulate Phil Ledgerwood on his Australia Day Sports Award from last Thursday.
We recognise Phil as a valued member and thank him for his fine contribution to the running of our association and of the Murrurundi Golf Club.
Fifteen Vets played a stableford event on Tuesday, January 31 on the lush Murrurundi course with its extra jacaranda trees on show.
Ken Thornton revived his pre-Christmas form to win with 33 points from George Smith 2nd and John Norman 3rd both 31.
Welcome back to our old friend Elie Raad.
Balls went to Captain Max Holz 30, Buzz Pascoe, Bob Thorley and Gary Gray 28 and Valmay Pascoe and Phil Ledgerwood 27.

Future Games:
Tuesday, February 7 we play our annual stableford challenge match at Muswellbrook against Henbury with hit-off by 8.30 am.
Please bring a plate to welcome our visitors.
$25 p.p. for golf and lunch to the treasurer by Thursday please.
