Veteran’s Golf: February 4

WINDY and much cooler conditions were enjoyed by the 24 vets who played a two ball best ball and individual stableford events at the lush Muswellbrook Golf Club on Tuesday, February 4.
George Campbell and Bruce Robinson combined well to win the two-ball with 41 points from Red Palmer and Terry Mitchell 40 C/B.
Balls went to the following individuals: Captain Phil Ledgerwood 35, Elie Raad and Jock O’Connor 32, Graham Guest and Rod Auld 31 and Wayne Murphy and Gary Gray 30.
The Bradman’s trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley was won by Graham Turvey.
