Veteran’s Golf: Feb 19

Once again the hardiness of Vet golfers was evident when 18 Vets came to Denman Golf Club on a 40 degree day on Tuesday, 19^th February for a stableford event. The course is in good nick thanks to the many volunteers who improve and maintain it.

Gary Gray is “cock-of-the-walk” as he won with 39 stableford points (after being “a feather-duster” last week). Second was Brian Dever 37 and 3^rd Paul Gorman 36 C/B.

Balls went to Captain Phil Ledgerwood, Red Palmer and Martin Byrne 36, Gary Ashmead 35 and on 34 Greg Squires, Kevin Warby, Lindsay Hodge and Treasurer Bob Minch.

The Bradman’s trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley, was won by Bob Thorley.
