Veteran’s Golf: August 20

It was cold and windy start for the 23 Vets who played a 2-person Ambrose event at Denman Golf Club on Tuesday, August 20. Thank you Kevin Warby for volunteering to play an individual round.
Locals Terry Mitchell and Gary Ashmead did best with 67.75 from Brian Dever and Rod Upton 2nd with 69.25.
Balls went to Captain Phil Ledgerwood and Christine Smith 70, Les Durham and Bruce Robinson 70.25 and Rod Auld and Martin Byrne 71.75.
The Bradman’s trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley, was won by President Paul Gorman and Gary Morley!
