Veteran’s Golf: August 15

IT was great to have Vice President Rod Upton back with us – not playing because of his sore hand but helping to collate the scores on the white board, at Aberdeen Golf Club on Tuesday, August 14.
Twenty-seven Vets played in the first round of the Championships plus the usual stroke and putting event. Best wishes for your ops Red Palmer and Bob Minch.
Brian Dever did best with nett 62 from Gary Gray 2nd 69, Wayne Murphy 3rd 71 and Doug Dowell 4th 72.
Balls went to Ross Banks, Bob Lawman, Les Brown and Peter Daunton 73, Rod Auld, Graham Guest and Graham Turvey 74, George Campbell 75 and Captain Phil Ledgerwood and Lindsay Hodge 76.
