Veteran’s Golf: April 16

Ideal weather, golf course and playing partners were enjoyed by the 22 Vets who played a stableford event at Denman on Tuesday, 16^th April.

Local horse-and-golf fan Kevin Warby won with 41 points from Terry Mitchell 40 second, Gary Ashmead 38 third and Graham Turvey 35 fourth.

Balls went to Captain Phil Ledgerwood 34, Bob Thorley 33 and on 32 Brian Dever, Red Palmer, Graham Guest and Ross Banks.

The Bradman’s trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley was won by President Paul Gorman.
