Update: Accident North of Parkville

THE Westpac Rescue Helicopter has arrived at the Scott Memorial Hospital in Scone to care for the driver of the b-double truck which was in a head on collision with a white ute near Cressfield Stud on New England Highway this morning.

The 61 year old Scone man who was the driver of the b-double is in a stable condition and is being treated for neck pain, a head injury and minor abrasions.

The driver of the ute is deceased.
