Two confirmed cases of covid in Singleton

THE New South Wales government has listed two positive cases of Covid in the Singleton local government area, with sources for both listed at this stage as unknown.

The Hunter New England Health service reported a total of 13 confirmed cases in the past 24 hours including:

  • 7 are in the Maitland LGA;
  • 4 associated with the RFBI Hawkins Masonic Retirement Village in Edgeworth. The other nine are family or household contacts and linked to previously reported cases;
  • 4 in the Lake Macquarie LGA;
  • 1 in Cessnock LGA and
  • 1 in the Singleton LGA.

Since the delta outbreak began in the Hunter area, there have been 95 confirmed cases.
