Travelling With A Horse?

THE Upper Hunter Shire Council has offered free camping space for people travelling with horses and are impacted by road closures due to the fires.

Travellers are welcome to erect a temporary yard for a horse at the following sites:

• Aberdeen: St Andrew’s Reserve, St Andrews Street.
• Merriwa: Merriwa Showground, 2 Dutton Street.
• Murrurundi: Rosedale Complex, 72 Mayne Street.

No bookings are required and all locations have limited, basic toilet and shower facilities.
