Total Fire Ban Tomorrow

THE New South Wales Rural Fire Service has declared a total fire ban for the Greater Hunter beginning at midnight tonight due to forecast hot and windy conditions.

During a total fire ban, no fires may be lit in the open and all fire permits are suspended.

Gas and electric barbeques may be used if they adhere to the total fire ban rules.

The top temperature in Scone today is predicted to reach a top of 39 degrees with the following expected during the coming days:

• Saturday, 40 degrees
• Sunday, 40 degrees
• Monday, 43 degrees
• Tuesday, 41 degrees
• Wednesday, 39 degrees
• Thursday, 37 degrees
