Total Fire Ban

THERE is a total fire ban in place for the greater Hunter due to hot and windy conditions.

During a total fire ban the following applies:

• no fires in the open;
• all fire permits are suspended;
• no activities that are likely to cause a fire, and
• no general purpose hot works such as welding or gas cutting in the open.

Gas and electric barbeques may be used providing certain conditions are met.
