THE Scone Thoroughbreds first grade team narrowly secured their place in the grand final next weekend in Muswellbrook following a 31 to 30 win over Aberdeen, after the game went into extra time with a 30 all score at full time.
In reserve grade Aberdeen beat Scone 16 to 12 and will now play against Singleton in the grand final.
Muswellbrook under 18’s defeated Scone 16 to 10, with Muswellbrook also set to play Singleton next weekend.
In League Tag Greta Branxton defeated Muswellbrook 18 to 16, putting Greta through to play Scone in the grand final.
