Strong Start to Easter Sales
ARROWFIELD Stud was the leading vendor at day one of the Inglis Easter Yearling Sales with an aggregate of $7,150,000 for eight horses sold, followed by Segenhoe Stud with an aggregate of $3,125,000 from four yearlings.
There were seven horses which sold for more than $1million on day one, with five of them from Arrowfield including a filly by Snitzel and Azmiyna fetched the top price of the day at $1.3million purchased by Chris Waller Racing and Guy Mulcaster.
Bhima Stud sold the second highest priced yearling a colt by Snitzel and Asscher, which sold for $1.2 million to Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott/Blue Sky Bloodstock/Kerri Radcliffe, on behalf of the colt’s breeder Bruce Wilson of Glentree Thoroughbreds.
Yarraman Park also cracked the $1million mark, selling three yearlings by I Am Invincible for an average of $470,000 and have horses today expected to fetch strong prices.
