Stock Report: May 30
By Stuart Sheldrake
THERE was a yarding of 1,450 cattle penned yesterday.
A good number of cows were penned and they sold eight to ten cents dearer.
The majority of the yarding was trade cattle and a good run of weaners and finished cattle.
The heifer portion was no different, it was probably firm, however the steer portion sold to dearer rates.
And good finished cattle were also dearer, they were five or six cents dearer.
There weren’t many but the feeder cattle were three to five cents dearer.
