Staying Cool at the Library
WITH the temperatures climbing into the 40’s this week and parents trying to stop their children from climbing the walls, the library has come to the rescue with holiday activities.
Until the end of January the libraries in Aberdeen, Cassilis, Merriwa, Murrurundi and Scone will conduct free holiday art and craft activities including making mini photo albums, kites, Chinese paper lanterns, tambourines, animal masks, stained ‘glass’ frames, wooden toy car frames, decorating tealight holders and paper weaving.
There is also a Summer Reading Club program, a Summer Reading Club party and Scone Library and on Wednesday Story@ the Park in Murrurundi.
