Shower Forecast

BETWEEN 9am yesterday and 9am this morning the Bureau of Meteorology recorded the following rainfalls:

• 1ml – Scone
• 0.6ml – Blandford
• 0.4ml – Murrurundi
• 0ml – Merriwa

Since 9am this morning Scone has recorded another 1ml.

Gabrielle Woodhouse from the Bureau of Meteorology said more light showers may be expected at the end of the week.

“What we expect around Scone and the Upper Hunter is some showers tonight, but becoming less and less as we move into tomorrow morning,” said Ms Woodhouse.

“We could see some patchy fog in the early morning tomorrow,” she said.

“As we move further into Friday and Saturday we’ll have a front crossing the state so we are looking at showers developing around Scone overnight Friday and Saturday morning, which will clear off over the weekend,” she said.

“It looks as though we’ll have another front crossing the state in the early half of next week, but it is a bit far out to know what that may bring to the Upper Hunter,” Gabrielle Woodhouse said.
