Scooter in for Maintenance
THE technician for motor scooters will be heading to town soon and the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre is now taking appointments.
Lee Watts, manager of the Centre said the technician would be in town every three months.
“They will work at the back of the Neighbourhood Centre office at 130 Liverpool Street, Scone to maintain motorised scooters, electric wheelchairs and walkers,” said Mrs Watts.
“The maintenance of these aids is vital so the user and or another person are not harmed,” she said.
“The technician can also bring any necessary parts such as tyres or batteries to your appointment,” she said.
“This service costs is reduced by having it completed in Scone and is also more manageable than having to take the vehicle to Maitland or Tamworth,” Lee Watts said.
If you would like to test drive a motorised scooter, or you need one on loan the Scone Neighbourhood Centre can help.
