Scone Stock Report: Sept 26
THERE was a yarding of 1,190 penned n a market that was easier once again due to continual dry conditions unfortunately.
There was a good penning of cows and export cattle they were probably 6 to 10 cents cheaper.
The majority of the yarding was a plainer offer on yarding due to cattle starting to feel the pinch of the dry time.
Good butcher calves they were probably firm to five cents easier but not many about.
Weaner cattle were five to eight cheaper, plainer yearlings were eight to ten cheaper and feeder cattle could have been five cents cheaper.
All a bit easier is the best way to describe it and it’s just going to continue until we get a break in the weather unfortunately.
