Scone Stock Report: June 28
By Stuart Sheldrake.
THERE were only 650 cattle at the sale today, which is due to the weather and also because it is traditionally a slower time of year.
The market was 10 to 15 cents dearer again on last week and the prices continue to break records.
The best cows made $2.78 and a pen of light weigh black weaners made over $4 a kilo.
All categories sold to dearer trends.
We expect this trend to continue throughout winter.
