IN ideal golfing conditions on Saturday March 19 at Scone, the men played an 18 Hole Individual & 2B Par for the Sean Constable and Grant Taylor Trophy.

The winners were Gordon Halliday and Simon Groom who had plus 8 in this difficult game.
Phil McGuirk and Alan Wood were runners up on a countback whilst third place went to Sean Constable and David Walters on plus 7.
Scott Shann won both the NTP’s taking the 2nd / 11th with a fine shot to 1.08 metres and the 8th /17th at 4.15 metres.
Ball winners on the individual scores were: Brenan Reeves, Gordon Halliday, Alan Wood +3, David Bradshaw, Tony Bowd +2, Scott Shann, Simon Groom, Scott Lye, Mick Alsleben +1, Scott Reid and David Walters square.
The final of the Summer Knockout was played with Tony Bowd showing the benefits of frequent games as he was a convincing winner over Trevor Wilson.
Next Saturday March 26, an 18 Hole Stableford will be played for the Curtis and Irving Trophy.
It is also round 2 of the Captain’s Trophy.
On Monday March 28, a 9 hole 4 person social ambrose will be held.
This is for golfers and non-golfers and is always a fun time on the course.
A shotgun start will be held at 2.30pm.
