Thoroughbred Cutting Challenge results
LAUGHTER filled Scone’s White Park Arena on Friday night, as the eager crowd placed bids on which local would win the highly anticipated Thoroughbred Cutting Challenge.
Twelve racing industry professionals suddenly became ammeter cutting contestants at the National Cutting Horse Association Autumn Spectacular event, each practicing their moves in the lead up to Friday night’s challenge.

Tayla Gilmore from Godolphin Stud came out on top with a score of 79 points, closely followed by Tom Magnier and Henry Field on 78 and then Jason Bowden and Emma Parkinson who scored 77.
Each cutting competitor was judged on degrees of difficulty, hard work, cow control, courage, loose reins, time worked and eye appeal.
