RMS to Survey Main Street

THE Road and Maritime Services will be conducting a survey of Kelly Street from Monday through until Wednesday to gauge the passing trade and potential impacts of the bypass on the local business community.

The Scone Chamber of Commerce is critical of the RMS’ choice of days to conduct the survey, claiming they are the three quietest days of trade and the days of least passing trade.

The Chamber is also critical of the businesses the RMS has selected to participate in the survey.
