Val Quinell said he was pleased to see so many people attend the commemoration considering it was a Saturday.
“When Remembrance Day is on a weekday there are usually more people, but considering it is a Saturday there has been a good turn out,” said Mr Quinell.
“Each year the ANZAC Day service grows and it is good to see people take the time to pay their respects,” Val Quinell said.
Charles Cooke from Scone RSL Pipes and Drums band said they were glad to have Harry Brown join them.
“Harry learned to play the bag pipes at Scott’s College in Sydney and is now attending St Joseph’s as a year 9 student,” said Mr Cooke.
“It is great to see, we are attempting to start a pipe band at St Joseph’s and Harry will that a new lease of life,” Charles Cooke said.
