Ready for Racing in Merriwa

THE feature event of the Merriwa Racing Calendar is the running of the Merriwa Cup this Saturday.

Sitting atop a plateau overlooking the town and surrounding areas provides a great backdrop to a truly memorable country “bush” race day.

Program 2019 Morgans Merriwa Cup

• 1.25pm – Benchmark 45 Handicap 1000m
• 2.05pm – Maiden handicap 1200m
• 2.40pm – Class 2 Handicap 1350m
• Calcutta
• 4.10pm – Morgans Stockbrokers Merriwa Cup 1350m
• 4.50pm – Benchmark 60 Handicap  1800

Gate Prices: $20 per person (older than 16 yrs)

There will also be a fashions on the field and a Calcutta.

A bus will be running from the Victoria Hotel, Moonan Flat to the race meeting, with pick ups at Gundy and Scone.
