THEFT AT TURILL PROPERTY
A HOUSE has been ransacked on a 400 acre property on Durridgere Road, Turill and stolen three trail bikes, two chainsaws, two security trail cameras and 15 bottles of liquor.
The break in and theft occurred sometime between 3pm on Friday, March 4 and 9am Sunday, March 13 by an unknown number of people.
Entry was gained by an elevated window, with the fly screen being removed and the lock on the window being forced.
The house was ransacked including the kitchen, living area, main bedroom, two spare rooms and the laundry.
The unregistered trail bikes and chain saws were stolen from padlocked shipping containers stored 40 metres from the house.
There were five shipping containers, which were each container were broken, with the bikes and chainsaws in three of the containers.
The owners ute was then driven from the shipping containers to the front gate.
STEALING AT SERVICE STATION
YESTERDAY between 4am and 4:15am a service station on Bettington Street, Merriwa has been broken into, byt jemmying the door.
Two rooms were entered, with one ransacked and a cash box containing cash was stolen.
The cash register was also opened and cash stolen.
IRRIGATION PIPES STOLEN
BETWEEN midday on Friday, January 15 and 3pm on Friday, March 11 60 irrigation pipes and their fittings have been stolen from an old paddock trailer on a property on Cullingral Road, Merriwa.
