Police Update: Mar 31

PROWLER AT MERRIWA

A resident of William Street, Merriwa called police at approximately 4:30pm on Tuesday to report a prowler in their backyard.

The resident had heard a noise in the backyard, dogs were barking and they went to investigate.

They described a tall, skinny male wearing a bright green shirt and denim jeans jumping the back fence out of the property.

Police remind residents to ensure their house and vehicle are locked and to report suspicious activity to the police.

ATTEMPTED BREAK AND ENTER: SCONE GRAMMAR SCHOOL

BETWEEN 5pm on Thursday March 24 and 8am on Tuesday, March 29 the fly screen on a window of the Scone Grammar School art store room was removed and the window was forced ope, however no entry was gained.

The art store room is is above the first floor of the primary school section and they would have had to climb to the window.
