Police Update: July 4

BREAK AND ENTER IN MURRURUNDI

BETWEEN 4pm and 10:30pm on Saturday a handbag was stolen from a home in Mayne Street, Murrurundi.

The resident was at home at the time, watching television in an adjacent room when the handbag containing her wallet, glasses and spare key to her car was stolen.

DRINK DRIVING IN SCONE

ON Saturday at 12:55am police stopped a Holden Astra on Liverpool Street, Scone for random breath testing.

The 22 year old male provisional driver returned a reading of 0.111 grams of alcohol in 210 litres of breath.

He was charged with mid-range prescribed concentration of alcohol and his licence was suspended.
