Police Update: Feb 19

A GREY box trailer was stolen from Mackenzie Street, Aberdeen between 4pm on Thursday and 12:35 today.

Driving Without a Licence

A 27 year old male from Quirindi was stopped by police on Liverpool Street, Scone at 11:35pm on Wednesday and a random breath test was conducted.

Checks revealed the driver’s licence was suspended due to fine default, which commenced on January 19.

On January 28, the driver was given a suspension advice notice informing him his licence was suspended.

Police issued the driver with a court attendance notice for Scone local court on March 24.

Abandoned Station Wagon

A green Ford station wagon was found abandoned by police on Dales Creek Road, Merriwa, approximately five kilometres south east of Willow Tree road.

Checks revealed the registration had expired in 2014.

The plates were removed by police and returned to the Roads and Maritime Service and council were notified.

Number Plates Stolen

ON Wednesday number plates were stolen from a white Toyota camry sedan which was parked at McLoughlin Street, Scone.
