Police operation in Aberdeen

A 68 year old man been arrested and is being taken to Muswellbrook to assist police with their enquiries following a neighbourhood dispute in McAdam Street, Aberdeen.

Police were called at approximately 12:20pm, with reports of gunshots fired, however police say the dispute may have begun an hour before they were called.

Segenhoe Road was closed during the police operation, but is now open.

UPDATE: Information provided by police on scene at this incident was inconsistent with the police facts put before the Muswellbrook court. The incident did not relate to a neighbourhood dispute and the man was a 62 year old. Read more: Aberdeen gunshot case in court.
