Nominations for Council Close Today

THE nominations for the upcoming local government elections will close at midday today.

The order in which candidates will appear on the ballot paper will be drawn this afternoon.

The candidates who have nominated so far include:

• Sue Abbott of Scone;
• Wayne Bedggood of Parkville;
• James Burns of Scone;
• Ron Campbell of Merriwa;
• Maurice Collison of Woolooma;
• Lorna Driscoll of Aberdeen;
• Kiwa Fisher of Aberdeen;
• Liam Garment of Merriwa;
• Lee Watts of Scone and
• Arthur Wright of Merriwa.
