Neighbourhood Centre still here to help
WHILE the doors of the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre Manager are closed, the services and support of the Centre are still available.
Lee Watts, manager of the Centre said they will still be available to support the local community.
“Our services will continue to support the most vulnerable in the community with any assistance
needed,” Ms Watts said.
“The Scone Community Pantry is still operating but just a little differently at this time,” she said.
“We understand this is a distressing and confusing time for many especially for people living alone.
“There are mixed communications about where you can go and what you can do.
“Essential services remain open, you should stay home to slow the spread of coronavirus.
“A reasonable excuse to leave home is to obtain food, go to work if you cannot reasonably work from home, for school if it is not possible to do it at home, to exercise or for medical.
“If you can assist our service with food or if you are able to help financially, please contact the Centre on 6545 2562,” she said.
“If you need assistance, please reach out by calling 6545 2562. We are here to help,’ said Lee Watts.
