Murrurundi Restrictions Lifting

AT midnight tonight water restrictions in Murrurundi will be lifted.

The restrictions have been in place since mid-December following the detection of algae in the Murrurundi Dam.

The dam has been tested during the last month and it once again meets national drinking water standards.

During the water restriction the town’s water supply was sourced from the Pages River.
