Motorised Scooters and Road Rules
THE Scone Neighbourhood Resouurce Centre will be running a free information session for scooter users after recent consultation and need people to express their interest before the day.
Lee Watts, manager of the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre (SNRC) organised the sessions.
“Further to a recent round table chat with scooter users a free Information session has been organised,” Lee Watts said.
The Motorised Scooter Information session will be held on Monday August 7 at the Council Chambers, 135 Liverpool Street, Scone.
Speakers for the session include Upper Hunter Shire Council and Police representatives covering topics such as footpaths to essential services, future improvements for scooter use as well as safety and road rules for scooter users.
Mrs Watts invites scooter users, potential users, carers and anyone else who will be assisted by the the information, to be a part the day.
The session is free with morning tea provided.
