Motor Vehicle Accident Near Blandford
LAST night at approximately 9pm the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to a motor vehicle accident involving two cars on the New England Highway, 8km south of Blandford, to treat four people suffering injuries.
A 36 year old male suffering from pelvic and limb injuries and a 38 year old female with head and chest injuries were treated on scene by the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team and Ambulance Services New South Wales, before being flown to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
Two other people suffered minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to Scone Hospital.
