Merriwa Library Plans

THE community are invited to give feedback on Council’s plans for the Merriwa library.

The current plans are for the library to be in the Council’s Administration building in Merriwa and are designed to give the library room to grow with twice the current floor space, zones for children, young people and toilet facilities.

The plans also incorporate the possibility for an outdoor reading area overlooking the park.

The Council hopes to use the library for community events.

Submissions close on Monday, November 28.

Plans can be viewed at Council offices or on the Council’s website.
