Making it Fun and Keeping it Real
THE digital world can be challenging, but in many ways it can also make life much easier.
To help people get the good things out of online, the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre has organised a scavenger hunt on Wednesday, October 16 beginning in Elizabeth Park and taking you….well who knows what Lee has planned?!
“We thought this was a really fun idea to help people navigate online apps, by navigating their way around town,” said Lee Watts, manager of the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre.
“People will be paired up and look for items that have been created in an app,” she said.
“There will be mentors on the day to assist players to use their digital device to locate and record items, using messages and camera,” she said.
“Once the hunt is concluded and score tallied, prizes will be awarded and morning tea provided,” she said.
“If you can’t make the scavenger hunt, but still want help with your digital device, we still offer free training at 9:30am every Wednesday at the Centre,” Lee Watts said.
