THE Upper Hunter Shire Council has reported the following bus services will not run today due to the weather:
- Merriwa
- Bunnan (town loop will run)
- Brawboy (Town loop will run)
- Ellerston.
There are reports of lots of water on the New England Highway between Scone and Aberdeen and the speed is reduced to 20km an hour on some sections. Some locals have advised they wouldn’t travel through the water in a small car.

The following roads are cut or are affected by water:
- Park St, Waverley Street and Oxford Road at Figtree Gully in Scone
- Kingdon St, Scone
- Idaville Rd
- Muralla Causeway, Murrurundi
- Pages River
- Llangollen Rd, Cassilis
- Branksome St, Cassilis
- Bunnan Rd at Dartbrook
- Sandy Creek Crossing
- Dry Creek CrossingGundy Rd
- Coulsons Creek Rd, Merriwa
- Segenhoe Rd, Scone
- Barton St, Scone
- Parkville, New England Hwy
- Rouchel Rd
- Middlebrook Rd, Scone
- Scone Rd, between Merriwa and Scone has water across it in parts
- Flaggs Rd, Merriwa
- Moobi Rd, Scone
