Letter: Hospitality on a Hot Day

Dear Scone,

My wife and I visited Scone on Thursday 20th of December.

We walked much of the CBD admiring the street scape, we enjoyed a cold drink in the Royal Hotel.

After exploring a bit further we headed towards the bowling club. As you will recall Thursday was a very hot day.

We stopped in some shade to collect ourselves for the next leg. Not really sure where we were headed we asked directions from a lovely local lady.

Not only did she offer directions but when her husband, Peter, picked her up they took us to the club.

These two ambassadors for Scone we would like to thank.
