Junior Basketball Bounces Back

NUMBERS for Scone junior basketball are increasing and the last day for registration is today.

Danielle Brown, juniors organiser for Scone Amateur Basketball Association said the number of children keen to play basketball this term was exciting.

“Last week we had 30 children aged five to nine years old and 60 children aged 10 to 14 years old register to play this term,” said Ms Brown.

“Number are increasing which is great to see for a small town like Scone,” Danielle Brown said.

The 5 to 9 year old juniors will train and play games on Wednesday from 4pm – 5pm.

The 10 to 14 year old juniors will divided up into teams and play a 30 minute game each week and will train today from 5:15pm until 6:30pm.
